Chateau Leoville Poyferre, rated as a 2nd-class (2eme cru classe) in 1855, is located in the Saint Julien region of Bordeaux, France. Chateau Leoville Poyferre used to mainly plant Merlot. Since Mr. Didier Guflier took over, the winery began to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in large quantities. The average age of the vines in the vineyard is 35 years. This high-quality vineyard has many old vines, ensuring the excellent quality of wine produced by this winery. The potentials are massive for Chateau Leoville Poyferre.

Wine

Chateau Leoville Poyferre 2014 is being recognized as the most expressive and generosity of young wines. Precision and focus are intact, and the moment is passionate and sultry. The palate is medium-full-bodied with a firm structure that suggests a touch of voltaic from its rich bouquet in the barrel. Powerful dark fruits and tobacco sinks in once it touches your palette.
